Thanks guys!

The FJ Cruisers?!? They're 17s....

I've got 16" stockers off RCSB, 17" FJs, and the 20" GMCs.

I may try and sell the stockers for alittle extra cash. Put that towards two more used Trail Grapplers for the worn ones.
I thought the fj wheels were 18s for some reason. I like my z71 stockers but i dont at the same time and i don't habe 2k+ for wheels and tires :mexiokay:

How does one do the 2" DIY bodylift? Looks great

Pretty straightforward.

This one is a 2". I'd done a 1" DIY BL on my RCSB as well. Just pucks and longer bolts.

Fan shroud needs trimmed to clear fan. Fuel filler has enough "slack". Steering shaft telescopes enough as is. Bumpers need adjustment and brackets modified as required. Check wiring and hard brake lines for clearance as the body goes up. Unsnap from frame clips if necessary. Adjust parking brake cable. Outer front bumper brackets got swapped L to R and flipped upside down.

Late Saturday... was more packed earlier.
IMG_3060.JPG IMG_3061.JPG IMG_3062.JPG IMG_3067.JPG IMG_3075.JPG Took the Burb to 2017 Carlisle All
Truck Nationals this past wknd. Felt weird not having the HD there....as it's been every year since 2008. But it was nice showing off the Burb and its mods. Got a lot of compliments on its condition for its age/mileage. Turned 203k over the wknd as well.

Nice so you just buy body pucks and longer bolts and then make the adjustments as necessary?

Yeah. I got lucky.... my buddy Andy had done a couple DIY 1" and 2" BLs on his trucks and friends trucks. So, he gave me his leftover pucks and bolts. Only thing I had to buy was the 2" longer body bolts for the Burb. And (2) longer hitch to bumper bolts.

Plan is to use HD front fender liners to cover the little gap left. Then, make something up for the rear inner fender gap.

What headlights do you have?

They are eBay specials. Have held up great though. I bought the clear 4 piece set (headlight/parking light) a few years back. Been through two sets of clear corners since, which all yellowed horribly. But, the headlights are fine....

May just pull the trigger on the heads that match my Amazon clears then, probably all from the same factory with different brands on the boxes.
