When Brian started off, his stuff was super good. The cam would have the random bur but springs/seats/trunnions etc were perfect.
He's seem to blow up a bit and is no longer approachable anymore and this is the 3rd time i've seen quality issues.

CGM started because a group of us were tired of the drama that other sites...
Theres some shiny bits in the oil, very fine metal hairs. I'll be breaking the entire motor down and everything. If the block needs work ill end up boring it out, if its good then ill just build a pretty strong little 5.3.
I'm 100% sure its a lifter eating away at the cam. Its an excuse to build the thing so I'm not mad. 160k on it and the previous owner wasn't up to par on the maintenance so it owes me nothing.
