The Forged UCA from Rough country is fairly new and I haven't seen any feedback on them, so I figured I would throw together a brief review/comparison for those who might be considering them.

I had the original RC Tubular arms on my truck for a little over 2 years (over 50k miles) when the ball joints started showing some wear. I considered rebuilding them, but due to some minor issues I was having with them I decided to give the new forged arms a try. The tubular style arms rubbed one of the frame ears on the forward mount due to the geometry of the arm and at full droop the arm would make slight contact with the coil on the strut. RC might tell you different, but the new arms have new geometry and ball joint angle. This eliminated both of the issues I was having and I am very pleased with the end result. My only gripe would be that the powder on the arms doesn't seem very durable, but that was an issue i had with the tubular style arms as well.

Price - $359 (can be had cheaper through site vendors, I paid roughly $310)
Bottom line - These are a good option for someone looking to upgrade to an aftermarket UCA to go with a leveling kit without the price tag of some of the top tier brands. I will follow up with some pictures in the next post.

For reference, my truck has a 2.5" upper leveling spacer.
