From that link you can see that there are a bunch of guys that swear by it and a few that say its BS. I personally haven't tried it on my truck but will prolly give it a whirl tomorrow. I mean I guess it can't hurt.

They wont touch it man. Said that it'll flake off in a couple months. Idk I've seen a lot of guys paint them themselves and they've been fine I just don't wanna paint them myself and they look cheap or crappy.
