so i installed mirrors with puddle lamps a few weeks ago, last week i swapped the passenged side bulbt for LEDs and everything worked fine. when i went to install the housing back into the mirror both sides stopped working. The driver side still has the filament bulb in it. neither side illuminates at all anymore, i tested both bulbs and they still work. According to the haynes manual the fuse is SEO 1 in the underhood bussed electrical center, i cant find a SEO 1 but i did find a SEO B1 which was not blown. i pulled the cover off the Mid Bussed Electrical center but didn't see a relay for the puddle lamps that should be there according to the haynes manual either. so where the hell do i check next?

This may sounds crazy but I have you checked the settings on the cluster. I've had the bcm randomly change things before after anything electrical has changed on the truck.

^^^^^THIS. I have had people beg me to look at their puddle lights and it turned out to be a setting in the cluster that just needed to be changed. I would double check all the cluster setting first before I do anything else.

just wanted to update this thread, they worked this morning, so I'm assuming they're tied into the light sensor. or just blame it on OP error
